To be sold by auction by Francis Allen; Lot I A very compact house, built in the Gothic style, situate at Elsted in the County of Surrey ... in the occupation of Capt Ryves, the Proprietor. And also an inclosed field, or parcel of land, containing by estimation 9 acres (omore or less), situate in front of the house, ... now in the occupation of John Attfield, tenant at will.

Lot II a large and very convenient Farm House, with abarn, stable, cow house, fuel house, a newly-erected granary and cart shed, a farm yard and 60 acres (more or less) of arable and meadow land thereto belonging, likewise situate in the Parish of Elsted, and now in the occupation of the said John Attfield, tenant at will.

The village of Elsted is a very dry and healthy situation, 4 miles from Godalming ... The estate is copyhold of inheritance, almost all holden of the Manor of Farnham, subject to small fines and heriots certain, and quit-rent, and nearly equal in value to freehold; the residue is holden of the Manor of Frensham Beale.
