Tramways in India - An order is published in the Punjab Gazette authorising Mr. J.S.Attfield, C.E., to proceed with the construction of a tramway in Rawalpindi. The work is to be commenced within a year. The power to be employed is not stated, but the item may be worth the attention of electrical engineers.

This is the last Will and Testament of me John Sutton Attfield now residing in Okara, Punjab, India. I herewith revoke all wills by me at any time heretofore made, and I appoint my dear wife Rose Stewart Attfield and my son-in-law Andrew Mure Slight to be my Executors and Trustees. I give devise and bequeath all that I possess as well as all monies that may hereafter be due to me from any source whatsoever and which are not included in my marriage settlement unto my dear wife Rose Stewart Attfield above named. In witness wjhereof I the said John Sutton Attfield have to this my last Will and Testament set my name this second day of September in the year of our Lord one thousand nine hundred and three. Witnesses: M B Moorhouse, Devonshire Cottage, Bath, Clerk in Holy Orders, Jane Moorhouse, wife of the above.

Although not mentioned in my Will, it is my wish that the sum of fourteen pounds ten shillings every quarter of a year should be paid to my sister Mary Attfield out of the profits from Okara business so long as she lives. Signed John Sutton Attfield, September 1903.
